Austin, TX.

A few years ago, probably 5 or 6 I travelled to the USA with my family, my father and mother by that time. I went there because my father had to do some research fot The University of Texas and so my mother and I went on vacations for 2 months.
The first place we visited was Austin, in Texas, and we stayed there for a long time. The fact is that it was quite an experience, considering that it was my first time on a contry where everybody's language was English and my mother speaks nothing of it, so I had to take care of her hahah, it was great for me to learn but for her it was pretty much like hell.

Anyway... I remember that my first big impression was that people was incredibly fat, not everybody but most of them, oh! even doves in the street seemed bigger than here...you know what they say...USA is the country where everything is big-sized haha, AND IT IS!

When i finally realized that i could speak the language, and that people actually understood what i was saying i started travelling by myself and visiting places. I went to museums, botanical parks, the capitol, stadiums and everywhere i could. I liked Austin more than other places because the people from there were just amazing, really helpful, friendly and misteriously interested in me and my country ahahah!

I wanted to write about this experience in the USA because for me it meant a lot, it was cool to learn about their culture, to travel through the country and to speak nothing but english. I would love to write everything i lived, describe places, people, parties, drinks, other countries where i've been but i would be writing the whole day and that's not the idea :) so...
See you guys next week

Right here. right now

I'm sitting down on the english lab (yes, there's an english lab) which i just discovered today. It's being weird to take english lessons after years. Unfortunately I realized that there was a tiny little problem with my lessons, my level was N°4 and level 4 is being taught on SEMESTER 2! silly girl... So i took N°3 to do not loose the whole and compleeeete semester (as there's no chance at this time to change my choice). Anyway, i was told to write something down and i'm trying to talk about some topic that i like, but it's not easy when you are tired and...whatever, it doesn't matter. The class has been interesting, i met some new people who i never saw before at FAU, so it's being a good start so far.

See u later,

x
